1. I am a complete beginner. Is this course right for me?
Yes. No previous experience is required to attend a class. These classes were created with the beginner in mind. I explain every step clearly, with demonstrations and exercises to build your confidence. No drawing is required.
2. What will I learn in the class?
You will learn fundamental watercolor techniques, including brush control, color mixing, and how to create beautiful washes and textures. More importantly, you will learn to trust your own creative instincts, find your unique style, and build the confidence to explore art on your own.,
3. What materials do I need to bring?
Nothing at all! All materials—including high-quality watercolor paints, paper, brushes, and everything else you’ll need—are provided for you. Just bring yourself and your enthusiasm.
4. Where are the classes held?
My classes are held at my studio or at a coffee shop in Pretoria East. The exact address and directions will be provided for each specific class.
5. How long is a class, and what is the cost?
Classes are typically 3 hours long, to give you ample time to create without feeling rushed. Please check the Workshop Schedule for more information on the cost for each class.
